Kindness is a powerful word, concept and character trait that has many synonyms including: compassion, generosity, humanity, benevolence, kindliness, kindheartedness, tenderness, warmth, attentiveness, thoughtfulness, mercy, charity, altruism, tolerance, understanding, patience, grace, goodwill, magnanimity, and many more.

There are many government agencies and nonprofit organizations that have a mission and vision to focus on kindness as well as related issues including anti-bullying, mental health, brain and character development, safety, etc.
